Admission requirements
Admission is through Direct Entry, Mature Age Entry and Diploma Holders Entry.
Minimum Entry Requirements
The Direct Entry Scheme
A candidate shall be deemed eligible for consideration to a first-degree programme if the candidate has obtained:
The Uganda Certificate of Education ('O' Level) or an equivalent qualification.
At least Two advanced level passes in approved subjects at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination ('A' Level) or an equivalent qualification.
A pass in the general paper will count for admission to any programme.
A candidate must fulfil the specific Faculty/School/Institute requirements.
The Mature Age Entry Scheme
Candidates who are at least 25 years old may apply for the Mature Age Examination. Successful candidates are considered for admission.
Diploma Holders Entry Scheme
Candidates must be holders of at least Second Class or Credit Diplomas or the equivalent relevant to their desired fields of study.
